Guidelines For Optimum Broadcasting Campaigns

The ability to produce a successful campaign is only limited by one's imagination and creativity along with establishing realistic inital expectations and a willingness to refine the campaign until it delivers expected results.

There are a number of key ingredients that go into the creation and refinement of a successful campaign:

1.      Effective Scripts: Test several scripts (right out of the starting blocks) to have a basis for comparison. It is worth refining your script until you achieve your maximum benefit for your customer.

3.      Concise VB Messages: Keep your recorded message(s) short and to the point (long-winded messages will generally turn-off the recipients of your calls).

4.      Choose An Effective Hook: You only have 30 seconds to motivate your target customer to Press-1 or call back. Your voice broadcasting message is competing against ad campaigns directed in every other medium: print, TV radio, direct mail, the Internet, email, billboards, etc. Therefore you need to instill an honest but compelling reason for call recipients to speak with your phone reps.

5.      Voiceover Talent: Remember... this isn't a radio announcement. You are sending messages to call recipients' home phones.  It is far more effective to select a person to record your VB message with a clear, warm and sincere sounding voice and to utilize a normal, one-to-one conversation approach than to use someone who sounds like a radio announcer. Also, if your VB message isn't pulling the results you seek, try changing your VB voiceover talent.

6.      Calling Data: Test (at least) 2-3 Lists until you achieve your desired results.  Quality data make your survey more efficient and can heavily increase ROI. KLR Vu.

7.      Seamless Call Flow: For Live agent campaigns, it is essential to prepare your telephone reps to handle the each prospect with continuity, from the greeting and transition to follow through with the message that was delivered on the message.
